HI! I’M KATIE.
On June 3, 2022, I married my best friend forever, Michael in Peterborough, Ontario, surrounded by our family + friends at a beautiful farm. Our wedding day was truly the most joyful, vibrant day of my life. I love that I get to re-live that feeling when I help my own couples today.
With a background in education, I used to believe that I would be a high school teacher. Eventually I discovered that teaching wasn’t my passion, but being a guide, leader, and creative partner was something I enjoyed. I later made the pivot to marketing, management, & entrepreneurship and took the leap later in 2022 to start Katie Hawkins Weddings. I can confidently say that I’m doing my dream job and I’ve never been happier!
